The advantages

...In addition to the aspect of natural decomposition, we also do not forget the beginning of every product. The mix of our La-1152® and fast-growing raw materials has the advantage that it protects the forests from new deforestation areas.

A tree needs an average of 40 years to be fully grown, but a hemp plant only about 6 weeks. This not only reduces the consumption of resources but also enables us to buy the raw materials we need from local dealers and not like e.g. bamboo, which we would have to buy in far away countries with a long supply chain. In contrast to conventional plastic, our La-1152® can be deformed again at any time and without shredding or with the tool of chemical additives. We can therefore make a cup or bowl from a plate without having to change anything in the end product. In this way we can offer our customers a modification even for complex structures. Although we make our products from organic materials, they are absolutely hygienic and can be used without problems in the food sector e.g. Restaurants, canteens and hospitals because contact with food is absolutely harmless. Depending on which materials are required, these can also be washed by hand. Trays in canteens, for example, are not long-lasting products, but are not replaced daily. Here we can offer organic coatings that enable the products to be washed off by hand and, if necessary, also disinfected. Paper drink cups have one major disadvantage: they are not recyclable. This is due to the very thin plastic layer that protects the paper from soaking. This disadvantage is a thing of the past thanks to our foil from our La-1152®. Coating and adhesive can be made from our La-1152® and make the beverage cup a zero waste product. The same applies to paper packaging that is glued such as e.g. Frozen meals or other coated materials made of paper and cardboard.
